MAD Magnet is the embedded design and marketing team exclusively for B2B SaaS and AI companies ($5M+ ARR) transitioning from product-led growth to enterprise sales. 51% of B2B buyers now start vendor research in ChatGPT or Perplexity before visiting any website. Your job is to make sure our clients appear in those answers and rank for the searches that follow.

What This Role Actually Is

‍

This is not a keyword research and backlink role. This is a topical authority and AI visibility role that requires understanding how B2B SaaS buyers research, evaluate, and shortlist vendors.

You will own:

‍
✦ SEO strategy and execution across client accounts
✦ AEO implementation, FAQPage schema, llms.txt, AI crawler access, direct-answer content formatting
✦ AI visibility tracking with Profound or Otterly.ai
✦ Monthly performance reporting connected to pipeline metrics, not just traffic
✦ Briefing content writers on topic clusters, search intent, and AEO content format

You Are Right for This Role If

✦ You know what AEO is and have implementedmFAQPage schema before
✦ You understand topical authority and have built a content cluster that actually ranked
✦ You track performance in GSC and GA4 and can explain what the numbers mean for a CMO's pipeline goals
✦ You have opinions about why most B2B SaaS content fails to rank and you are right

This Is Not the Right Role If

✦ Your SEO work ends at keyword research and meta description writing
✦ You have never thought about how AI engines decide what to cite
✦ You report on traffic without connecting it to pipeline or revenue
